Products – Engraved Bricks and Pavers

The perfect fundraiser with personalized and custom engraved bricks to create tasteful and permanent memorials.

Product Quality

We employ the laser-engraving process, and do so because of the precision and permanence laser-engraving produces: an intense heat is precisely focused upon the clay brick’s surface, which momentarily melts the sand (silicon) and metallic oxides within the clay, thus reconstituting them as a black, ceramic glazed depression, i.e. the lettering. Lettering is thereby permanently bonded to the surrounding material and “sealed,” rendering it impervious to water penetration and permanently ensuring color contrast with the natural brick color.

Our patented laser-engraving process is very different from the traditional method of “sandblast and fill” engraving.  That method requires the deeply cut, bare lettering cavities to be filled with lithochrome paint, grout, or epoxy so as to achieve color contrast with the surrounding material.

Regrettably, all of these “fills,” exposed to the elements, and debris, which collect in the lettering cavities, tend to fade and wear away…in a distressingly short time.  Weather damaged “sandblast and fill” lettering is evidenced in the photo section.

In northern climes, this is a critically important consideration for exposure to the elements, particularly freeze/thaw, ice/snow, harsh de-icing chemicals, ultra-violet sunlight, abrasion by sand/dirt, and wear, simply will not deteriorate our laser engraved lettering.  We, of course, warranty this assertion (See Limited Lifetime Warranty Section below).

Limited Lifetime Warranty – Laser-engraved Bricks/Pavers

BRICKS FOR YOUR CAMPUS employs the Laser Vitrification process to engrave fired, clay bricks/pavers, and does so because of the precision and permanence Laser Vitrification produces.

The process precisely focuses an intense heat upon the clay paver’s surface, which momentarily melts the sand (silicon) and metallic oxides within the clay, thus reconstituting them as a black, ceramic glazed depression, i.e. the lettering.

Engraving is thereby permanently bonded to the surrounding material and “sealed,” rendering it impervious to water penetration and permanently ensuring color contrast with the natural brick color.

BRICKS FOR YOUR CAMPUS warrants the integrity of the engraving against chipping, oxidation, fading, and/or “wearing-off,” due to exposure to such elements as ultra-violet sunlight, freeze/thaw, snow ice, and abrasion by sand/dirt associated with foot traffic, for the surface life of the brick/paver.

BRICKS FOR YOUR CAMPUS will replace any defectively engraved brick/paver, if such engraving defect is due to faulty material or workmanship.

Engraving damage due to acts of vandalism, acts of God, improper installation, and/or improper maintenance are not covered under this Limited Lifetime Warranty.
